MOQUETAS MANUEL MAS, S.L. is a firm established in 1995 by Mr.Manuel Mas.

The professional life of Mr. Manuel Mas is widely known in the carpet world, and could be summarised as follows:

Mr. Manuel Mas is the sixth generation of the very first Spanish carpet manufacturer that located his factory in Crevillente (Alicante – Spain) in 1823. 

From 1979 to 1995, Manuel Mas developed his career within the carpet family business, of which he was manager director for several years. During this period, he was also President of the Spanish National Association of Carpets and Rugs Manufacturers (Unifam) for three years.

In 1995 he sold the family business and founded MOQUETAS MANUEL MAS, S.L., which began by representing in Spain (but Guipuzcoa) the English firm BRINTONS, the biggest and most prestigious woven carpet manufacturer worldwide.

From 1997 onwards, the activity of MOQUETAS MANUEL MAS began to include the representation of other well-known European carpet manufacturers, such as

Where is MOQUETAS MANUEL MAS, S.L. located?

The office and showroom of Moquetas Manuel Mas, S.L. is located in Bonalba golf club (Muchamiel), close to Alicante, a city very well connected by plane to Europe and by train and road to the rest of Spain. However, the location of Moquetas Manuel Mas, S.L. is not crucial, as its activity has developed all over Spain through his agents, distributors, and customers.

The firms represented offer a wide variety in the carpet market, and the strenght of Moquetas Manuel Mas is that of the firms represented. If we could put all the firms together, we would have one of the biggest and best manufacturers in the world.

Moquetas Manuel Mas does not sell the products represented direct to consumers, they are sold to specialised distributors and retailers. If an individual does get in contact with us, we make certain that we lead him or her to the nearest retailer or distributor in his or her area or city.

NORDPFEIL – Germany – web site not ready
Nordpfeil, founded in 1951, is one of the most important German manufacturers of tufted carpets. 
Its carpets are made with 100% nylon of the very best quality.
With 400 employees, Nordpfeil produces around seven million square metres of tufted carpet per year.
The factory is located on the north of Germany, in Geesthacht, close to Hamburg. 
Nordpfeil attends as an exhibitor DOMOTEX, Hannover, and ORGATEX, Cologne, Germany.

PVH – The Netherlands – www.pvhdecor.com
Although PVH was actually founded in 1879, it began to produce carpet tiles only 25 years ago.
Nowadays, PVH has become a big manufacturer of CARPET TILES, with a great range not only of 100% polyamide but also of other kinds of yarn.
With only 50 employees, PVH produces around two million square metres of carpet tiles per year.
The PVH plant is located in ALMERE, very close to Amsterdam.
PVH attends as an exhibitor DOMOTEX , Hannover (Germany).

ADAM CARPETS – England – www.adamcarpets.com
Adam Carpets, founded in 1928, manufactures the best tufted carpets in the superb yarn 80% wool, 20% nylon, in different widths and looks (velvet or twist pile). 
Adam has the most modern tufting plant in the United Kingdom, including the ICN system which allows them to produce tufted carpets that previously could only be manufactured by weaving machinery.
With 100 employees, ADAM produces a million square metres per year.
Adam’s plant is located in Kidderminster, Worcestershire (England), the heart of British carpet production.

Stairrods was founded fifteen years ago.
With only 12 employees, Stairrods produces luxury carpet accesories, such as rods for stairs, in a crafty way.
Stairrods plant is located on the North East of England, near Newcastle.
Stairrods attends as an exhibitor the “National Floor Show” in Harrogate (England).

RUNE – Denmark – www.runetaepper.dk
Rune, founded around twenty five years ago, is located in Denmark.
Rune manufactures flat weave carpets inspired by natural textures, such as sisal, but with all the advantages of 100% wool.
With 12 employees, Rune has a production of 600.000 square metres annually.
Rune also attends as an exhibitor DOMOTEX, Hannover (Germany).
In Spain, the exclusive distribution of Rune is carried out by Exclusivas Novadecor.
Rune belongs to Bentzon, another firm represented by Moquetas Manuel Mas in Spain.

TWN – Germany – www.twn.to
TWN was founded around thirty years ago.
The factory, located in the north of Germany near Hamburg, produces tufted carpets of high quality, 100% New Zealand wool (“Decorwool”), mostly dedicated to domestic use.
With 50 employees, TWN manufactures approximately one million square metre of carpets per year.
TWN also attends as an exhibitor DOMOTEX, Hannover (Germany).

BENTZON was founded around thirty years ago.
Like RUNE, the factory owned by BENTZON, they are situated in Denmark and manufacture flat weave carpets of a countryside style, imitating natural textures, such as sisal, but with all the advantages of 100% wool.
With 20 employees, BENTZON produces more than a million square metres of carpets annually.
BENTZON attends as an exhibitor DOMOTEX, Hannover (Germany).
